However, never use a 100-grit file on new acrylic. The vibration can damage the molecular structure since it hasn’t fully solidified yet. The 180-grit file is most suitable for fresh enhancements that need shaping.

A straight nail file is well-suited for straightening the sidewalls and the tip of the nail to achieve a sleek-looking enhancement. Additionally, it is a wider nail file, allowing work on larger areas of the nail.
